One of the main points for designing this language school was the pavilions’ past as military use, which during all the project phases have served us as axes of action and work tools. Back then, the landscape was used to isolate the military complex from any communication with the outside. Now, for the school, it is time to open to the landscape, to nature and to establish an open dialogue with the environment; and, in this dialogue, to have the best energy efficiency reducing the consumption by improving the lighting and the thermal behavior of the classrooms. Asides, giving the Centre places where students interact outside the school hours accelerates learning process, making the user experience much more enriching.
